Hi today I am showing some mixed media work.I am loving working with this art lately. I love working with  gesso, paint ,and much fun and easy to do.

First up is a both projects I have used dies to cut out of card stock as well as chipboard.
Basically you start off priming your canvas with Gesso.A couple layers if your gesso is on the cheaper side.I then cut out all my designs. Gluing them down and covering them with gesso. I also layed down stencils using texture paste to give dimension.Once you have your layout you then can start spraying...Once I was happy with that I took paint and dry brushed the tops to highlight the dies. And adding gems and pearls.

My second project is a journal that I altered using the similar technique as above.Although instead of paint to highlight I used Inkagold in silver.

Always here for you friend

Ok summer is over I think and fall is settling in.The crisp air is among us,some dislike ,not I though. But I will show off one more summer card.

The paper is from Lili of the Valley. The flowers are WOC with a few Primas. The turtle border die is from memory Box.My girlfriend bought me and so happy I got a chance to use it. The Oval die is from Spellbinders. And becoming a fav lol.The cute resin seahorse is from Prima.
The cute charms in the corner I found in Wal Mart.It just fit perfectly for this card.

Little Dude

Oh my I am so behind in posting.I have done a few things but not much.I actually am starting early on my Xmas cards.I am not one to do this when it's summer.I need to be in the mood.A little snow or cold air or even hot choco in hand lol. So I figure if I get my coloring done I am already ahead of the game.I gotta tell you it's not easy coloring snowmen with the sun shining down lol.

But I do have a cute little summery card for you.It was my cousin's boy's 5th birthday and the family gathered to the lake to celebrate.I totally cased this card from Debby :) thanks hun.It is on a simpler side but for a five year old,,,,perfect :)
This image is a Mo Manning and  my papers are from Bo Bunny lemonade.very fun and bright collection.
